After the material is unloaded, it is transported to the silo through pipe chain transportation or pneumatic transportation for solid-gas separation. The material enters the silo, and the gas with dust is filtered by a dust collector and discharged into the atmosphere.
A silo is an easy way to store materials, usually made of steel or reinforced concrete structures. The geometric shape of the silo: The upper part is mostly cylindrical or prismatic, while the lower part contracts into a conical funnel with a discharge port. The materials in the warehouse are unloaded and transported from the unloading port by their own weight. Elevated silos can reduce floor area and fully utilize space. Elevated silos can be set up separately or several individual silos can be combined into a long skirt. The trend of elevated silos towards large-scale development is that cylindrical silos can have a maximum diameter of 30 meters and a height to diameter ratio greater than 2.5
As needed, the silo can be equipped with a weighing system that can display the weight of materials in real-time.
